45 Years

A marriage is thrown into turmoil with news of a long dead lover. The film premiered in Competition at the 2015 Berlin Film Festival where it won Silver Bears for both Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtenay. It went on to receive numerous awards and nominations including an Academy Award nomination for Charlotte Rampling and a BAFTA nomination for Best British Film. It ended the year on many best of the year lists including the top spot in The Guardian. It had a Criterion Collection release in 2018. Reviews can found here.
