Greek Pete was filmed for over a year with guys working within and around the sex industry and the story is a representation of their world. The process blurs the boundary between fiction and documentary, giving an authentic and intimate insight into the boys’ lives. Honest, non-judgemental, and sometimes explicit, the film offers a portrait of a sub-culture hidden from view.
Made for under £10,000 the film received a theatrical release in the UK through Peccadillo Pictures and was released on DVD in the US, France and Germany. It played over 50 festivals world wide and won the Artistic Achievement Award at Outfest in LA.
